PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Based in Madrid since 2018, Altamarea releases around 40 titles per year, most of which distributed across all Spanish-speaking countries. We focus on both Spanish and foreign upmarket fiction, while our non-fiction catalog centers on political and social issues. Altamarea publishes nine collections ranging from literary fiction and essays to literary criticism and graphic novels, making it one of the most thriving independent publishers in Spain.
