BolognaBookPlus (BBPlus) is the brand extension of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, dedicated to general trade publishing. It is organized in collaboration with AIE - Associazione Italiana Editori.
It features exhibition space, training conferences, book jacket exhibits, an Author Ambassador, In the Limelight, a focus on one region annually, a topical seminar programme, an Audio Fourm, a Translation Focus, and plenty of opportunities for networking and doing business. In addition, are three design focussed exhibits - Jackets Off, Indie Author Book Jacket Design Award, and Talking Pictures.
The popular conference programme will again offer in-depth training on rights selling and writing and self-publishing. How to Sell Rights and Understand Licensing in Children’s Book and Self-Publishing: How to Succeed in Italy and Abroad.
The established Literary Translation Forum and the newer Audio Forum will take place again in 2025.
