PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Allagalla Editore is a Turin-based publishing house that publishes the timeless stories that have made the history of Italian comics, re-proposing successful authors and characters to make them rediscovered by the readers of yesterday and known to the new generations. To do this, it carries out in-depth research work to recover, when possible, the original plates, to re-propose the stories in a more authentic and complete way and let readers know the behind the scenes and the manufacturing process. Among his publications are the great classics of comic literature (the Lovecraft stories, The Betrothed, Little Women, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Treasure Island, Les Misérables, The Odyssey and many others), the great western stories (Larry Yuma, Colonel Caster'Bum and Little Tooth, Fort Express, Bandit Mustache), the maritime adventures of Captain Erik, great detective stories (Zampino, Lieutenant Marlo, Steve Vandam, Rosco and Sonny) and essays on the world of comics. In the catalogue, in addition to the great masters of comics (Claudio Nizzi, Attilio Micheluzzi, Tiziano Sclavi, Giancarlo Alessandrini and Angelo Stano), there are also anthologies related to current issues, such as euthanasia and state murders.
