PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Porto Editora was founded in 1944 by a group of teachers with the aim of publishing textbooks for students. Last year marked our 80th anniversary, and we proudly stand as the largest editorial group in Portugal, encompassing various publishers and imprints. Our extensive range of publications spans from textbooks and dictionaries to fiction and non-fiction, poetry, digital content, and children's books. We hold the position as the leading children's book publisher in Portugal, boasting a diverse catalog that includes products in all categories. Some are acquired from foreign publishers, while others are developed in-house in collaboration with prominent Portuguese authors and renowned illustrators.
