The Illustrators Wall is among the best-loved places at Bologna Children’s Book Fair. One of the first things you come across on entering the trade show, this impromptu array of posters, drawings, photographs, pictures, and contact details welcomes visitors each year.
In the run-up to BCBF2025 – at last, once again an in-person event – the unique, entirely digital, version of The Wall accessible to all will start gathering force as early as the end of March. The 2024 edition received postings by over 1,100 illustrators from +70 countries.
The 6th edition of the Illustrators Wall will stay online from 20 March through to 30 September 2025. The Wall offers visitors and sector professionals an opportunity to explore what’s happening in illustration throughout the world; it also gives participating illustrators an exceptional chance to show what they can do and introduce themselves, providing their email, website and social profile.
The Illustrators Wall will be promoted until August 2025 on all BCBF 2025’s digital channels.
The digital Illustrators Wall has no physical limits and so can host all the talent and enthusiasm of illustrators, graphic artists, and artists - whoever and wherever they are.
To post your illustration, all you have to do is go to the OPEN UP section of our BCBF website, from 08 January to 16 March 2025, purchase your entry ticket and upload your artwork together with your personal data.
