Sonia Déchamps

At the age of 20, Sonia Déchamps joined the radio Europe 1, where she worked for six years before becoming a reporter for the radio Mouv’. Literary journalist, she has worked for the radio (France Culture), the television (Polar+), the printed press (Le Monde des ados…) and animates meetings in various literary festivals. Author, she collaborated with La Revue Dessinée, wrote strips for Mâtin! (Dargaud) and published Sumographie with David Prudhomme (Soleil). Since June 2020, Sonia Déchamps is co-artistic director of the International Comics Festival of Angoulême.

Paul Gravett

Co-founder of Escape magazine and Comica Festival, Paul Gravett is a London-based writer, curator, critic and lecturer specialising in international comics. His books include Manga: Sixty Years of Japanese Comics (2004), Graphic Novels: Stories To Change Your Life (2005), Great British Comics (2006), Comics Art (2013), Mangasia: The Definitive Guide to Asian Comics (2017) and Posy Simmonds (2019). He also edited 1001 Comics You Must Read Before You Die (2011). Among the exhibitions he has curated are Comics Unmasked: Art and Anarchy in the UK (2014) for The British Library and Mangasia: Wonderlands of Asian Comics (2017), which The Barbican Centre is touring worldwide. David Schilter

David Schilter is the co-founder of kuš!, a small but mighty publisher of comics based in Riga, Latvia. Since 2007 he is publishing the award winning kuš! anthology and mini comics which include the works by alternative artists from around the world. Next to getting artistic comics into print and distributing them internationally, he is also organizing comics exhibitions, workshops, competitions, artist residencies, comics jams and other comics related events besides traveling to international festivals to spread the Latvian comics fever.

Alberto Sebastiani

Alberto Sebastiani is researcher, publicist and teacher. He works for the University of Bologna and IULM. He also collaborates with "la Repubblica" and "Treccani.it". He investigates linguistics, literature and comics. Among his books, he edited Opere (Mup 2003, with E. Orlandini and S. Costanzi), Lettere (Mup 2004) and Gec dell'Avventura by Silvio D'Arzo (Einaudi 2020), and the three volumes with the novels of the «Ciclo di Eymerich» by Valerio Evangelisti (Mondadori 2019); among the monographs Nicolas Eymerich. The Reader and the Imaginary in Valerio Evangelisti (Odoya 2018), Our Father. Civic rewritings of a prayer between music and literature (EDB 2020).
