The Bologna Children’s Book Fair and the Hay Festival of Literature & Arts, the prestigious publishing event that each May lights up the town of Hay-on-Wye, in Wales continues their partnership to bring the creativity of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair to the Hay Festival and other festivals across the globe that now form part of their events programme.
After the first presentation in the Hay Festival of Aarhus, Denmark last October, the Illustrators Exhibition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair will offer its uniquely global visual experience, displaying the New 2018 selection of artists from across the world, chosen by an international jury of experts among thousands of submissions from established and emerging artists. The 2018 Illustrators Exhibition also travels from Italy to Japan and China.
Hay Festival’s global conversation shares the latest thinking in the arts and sciences. Nobel Prize-winners and novelists, scientists and politicians, historians and musicians talk with audiences in a dynamic exchange of ideas. Hay Festival also runs a vast and varied programme of workshops for children, teenagers and adults that will be offered in the festival's 10-day programme https://www.hayfestival.com/home
The festival runs until 3 June.
