While we wait for one of the most important fashion events for kids to happen, the Bologna Children's Book Fair renews its partnership with Pitti Immagine Bimbo for the second year, with "Off the Page... and in the World of Fashion" that takes place on 22-24 June.
From the Illustrators' Exhibition, which is already one of the jewels in the crown of BCBF, a new showcase is set: 21 artists, picked up among the 75 illustrators of the 2017 Illustrators' Exhibition, will be on the stage of Pitti Bimbo 85, getting in touch with kids fashion brands. The names of the selected artists are: Jaesun Ahn (Korea), Chloé Alméra (France), Miren Asiain Lora (Spain), Marion Barraud (France), Julien Billaudeau (France), Olga Ezova-Denisova (Russia), Rashin Kheiriyeh , Ausra Kiudulaite (Lithuania), Yara Kono (Portugal), Soon Ok Lee (Korea), Mariann Màray (Hungary), Gwen Milward (Great Britain), Mayumi Oono (Japan), Adolfo Serra (Spain), Fasrshid Shafiey, Cristina Spanò (Italy), Gaia Stella (Italy), Aunyarat Watanabe (Japan), Lena Winkel (Germany), Bruna Ximenes (Brazil), Joohee Yoon (USA).
This is a unique opportunity for artists to stretch their talents and challenge themselves with new paths that mix illustration, fashion and design.
