PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Pallas Editora was founded in 1975, in Rio de Janeiro. It is a family business, run by editor Antonio Carlos Fernandes’ third generation. In its large catalog, fiction, non-fiction books on religion, self-help, poetry, academic and reference works, children, and teenagers’ stories that focus on afro-Brazilian themes, afro-Brazilian culture and history valorization and the contribution of African societies in Brazil’s formation. During this almost half century, Pallas has insisted on dreaming of a racism-free world.
