PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

FILI supports and promotes the translation of Finnish literature, helping it find new audiences worldwide. We collaborate closely with Finnish literary agents and publishers both in Finland and internationally. Our Editors’ Week fellowship program offers international publishers and acquiring editors the opportunity to visit Helsinki and gain firsthand insight into Finland’s literary and publishing landscape. We also provide translation grant as well as printing grant for children's books to international publishers, making it easier for Finnish literature to cross borders and reach readers around the world.
