The Bologna Grand Tour concluded in Montreuil at the Salon du livre et de la presse jeunesse en Seine-Saint-Denis (1-6 December 2021), France’s premier children's publishing event.
After Frankfurt, Sharjah and Guadalajara, BCBF payed tribute to France, one of the countries that most contributed to the Bologna trade show’s international growth.
For the occasion, Bologna Children's Book Fair presented a project telling the story of the Fair’s relations with French publishing - Bologna-France. Liaisons amoureuses. Lignes entrecroisées – a fascinating account involving the books, publishers, authors, illustrators, and art directors that have helped make BCBF the success it is today.
