BCBF 2023, the 60th birthday edition begins with a message from President Mattarella

Sixty years of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair: from 6 to 9 March the Bologna Exhibition Centre will be celebrating an important anniversary for the world of children’s publishing. More than 1400 exhibitors from approximately 90 countries and regions around the world, 325 events and the biggest names in global illustration. And with an inaugural message from Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic: “The works specifically for children,” wrote the Head of State, “are a precious tool for knowledge and enriching the growth of young people.”
