PUBLISHING ACTIVITY
The Poets and Dragons Society seeks to awaken the reading bug and the wonder it brings tovchildren. The promotion of picture books, reading counselling and the act of reading stories are part of a strategy focused on literacy and the development of children's reading habits. Our work focuses on the various stages of literacy, from emergent reading, which occurs between the ages of 6 months and 6 years, to fluent reading, which occurs between the ages of 9 and 15.
For us, language and literacy are fundamental elements in the development of a critical andcreative mind. Mastery of reading should be seen as a fundamental right.
