Jacana Media is a ground-breaking, fiercely independent South African trade publisher with a diverse range of children’s books. We publish remarkable stories, beautifully illustrated in multiple South African languages. Our books include reference works; illustrated children’s fiction; and contemporary fiction for young adults including a soon-to-be-launched Fantasy and Sci-Fi imprint. Jacana Media won Children’s Publisher of the Year, Africa Region, at the 2018 Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
