Editorial Presença is an independent trade publisher of fiction and nonfiction books, with a strong catalogue of picture books and middle grade titles. We have a long and successful experience publishing across many genres. We started our activity more than 60 years ago and, since then, we have developed a strategy of permanent modernization, always following the market trends and accumulating know-how, which has allowed us to grow and consolidate our position and leadership in the Portuguese market.
Presently, Presença is one of the biggest publishing groups in Portugal. Besides the main brand Presença, the group includes other three imprints: Marcador, Jacarandá and Manuscrito (www.presenca.pt).
We have been pioneers in publishing YA titles in the Portuguese market, and recently we've started a new Comics collection.
