Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids (BLTF/Kids) is the leading international licensing event dedicated to brands for children, teens, and young adults. Now an integral part of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, the BLTF/Kids returns to BolognaFiere from 31 March to 3 April 2025 for its 18th edition.
Following the success of the previous editions, new features and activities are planned each year for exhibitors and visitors to this area of the trade fair.
For BLTF/Kids exhibitors, the matchmaking service with exhibiting publishers at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and its special areas, namely TV/Film Rights Centre and Games Business Centre, is available. Organisers will make a careful search for potential partners in these fields to be involved in one-to-one appointments with the show participants, whether they have a regular stand, or registered at the Licensing Business Lounge. Moreover, BLTF/Kids is working to provide a new matchmaking service among exhibitors and thousands professional visitors attending the show. More updates will be announced soon.
In addition to a rich exhibition space in the heart of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, the Licensing Business Lounge offers a dynamic space where licensors, agencies and service providers can book their table and enjoy exclusive services and attend the event in a dynamic and optimized way.
Following its success in 2024, the Licensing Portfolio Reviews are an opportunity to bring together consumer goods and audiovisual companies with new illustration and design talents to create new business opportunities.
For all those working in this business and for those operating within the children’s content business in general, the BLTF/Kids organises the International Kids Licensing Days (IKLD) every year, three days of in-depth discussions with the main international key-players, on the most relevant topics related to content for children and young adults, from licensing to publishing, from audiovisual to gaming and more. The conference programme is organised in cooperation with Licensing Magazine.
At every edition, the Bologna Licensing Awards mark a permanent fixture for the international industry, rewarding licensors/agencies, licensees and retailers on an international level, with the aim of further enhancing the link within the entire supply chain as the basis of any great success. In 2025 one of the focuses of this award will be the Best Licensed Game Award, devoted to the best property development into videogames.
