Three Licensing events not to be missed!

The Hall 31 has always been reserved for the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair, the only Italian event dedicated to the buying and selling of licenses, which this year will take place from Monday 26 to Wednesday 29 March.

The Bologna Licensing Trade Fair is not only an event dedicated to those who deal with brand and properties: every year international speakers from publishing, illustration and design focus their attention on the intersection between illustration and licensing.

In particular, there are three meetings to be marked on your agenda that will be held in the Licensing Conference Room:

  • On Monday, March 26, at 12am, the event From illustration to style guides during which Raffaella Pellegrino of the Studio Legale Pellegrino and the speakers Omar Carano (Design for Licensing) and Benedetta Frezzotti (Associazioni Autori di Immagini) will discuss on how each illustrator could think about their work according to the creation and distribution of commercial products.

  • Again on Monday, March 26, at 2pm, is an event titled Toys and Publishing - A possible dialogue in which Ivan Colecchia, Director of Kidz Global and the speakers Ing. Stefano Quercetti (CEO of Quercetti SpA and Vice President Assogiocattoli), Beatrice Fini (Editor-in-Chief of Young and Young Adult, Giunti Editore) and Paola Corsini (Licensing Consultant of Giunti Editore) to understand how it’s possible for these sectors to gather and join skills.

  • On Tuesday, March 27, at 11am - during the event Broadcasting and Licensing - from the richness of television offerings for children and teenagers to the best content to capture their attention, Cristina Angelucci, Licensing, Media and Kids Contents Expert, will dialogue with Ivan Colecchia (Director of Kidz Global), Brenda Maffuchi (Head of Acquisitions & Property Development by De Agostini Editore), Annita Romanelli (Production Manager of Cartoni and TV Series, Rai Ragazzi) and Cristiana Buzzelli (SVP Co-productions and Acquisitions of Rainbow) on the comparison and current strategies between the world of thematic broadcaster, with the programme listings appeal for children and young people, and the world of licensors, which creates programmes appeal to young people and their favourite brand properities.
