They focus on the business side often, but also offer their authors creative guidance too. In the book world it is not always clear how to get started in this world. This unique event will guide you through explanations of how agents and scouts work; how to find authors; scouting, how publishing works and how to do the best for your authors. If you are thinking of becoming an agent, or in your first year or two, this will be a half-day well spent.
