Cristina Dozio is Lecturer of Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Milan and Teaching Fellow of Literary Translation from Arabic into Italian at SSML Vicenza. Her research interests are contemporary Arabic literature, humor and satire, and media Arabic. After studying Arabic surrounded by the minarets of Cairo and the hills of Amman, she worked in tourism in Andalusia and Morocco. She has translated a novel by Youssef Fadel and, with Elisabetta Bartuli, novels by Alaa al-Aswani e Dima Wannous.
